Ride-Along Program
Individuals interested in police work or citizens just curious about what all we do can ride along with a deputy. A ride along release form is available at our office or click the button below.
Once completed and approved, you may schedule a time to ride along with a deputy. Riders must be appropriately dressed in order to ride along. "Business casual" is the acceptable attire for riding.
A background check may be completed before being allowed to ride along. Anyone with an extensive criminal history will be denied.

Fingerprints
Some types of employment require an applicant be fingerprinted prior to being hired. If you require such services, you may come to our office Monday through Friday during normal business hours [excludes holidays] and request to have your fingerprints taken. There is a $10.00 fee payable by cash or check. If you have questions regarding fingerprinting, call our office at 417-451-8300 during normal business hours.
All fingerprinting is completed inside the booking area of our jail. Only the adult being printed will be allowed to enter.
A short wait may be necessary depending on the current workload of jail staff.
